OUR REVIEWS

“ Excellent dishes, I especially recommend the appetizers and sauces. The zucchini and feta meatballs are also very good.

Very kind and helpful staff and the place is magical because it is located on the martesana. To come back! ”

“ We ate delicious dishes! It's great that the pita is always served one at a time per diner, so that it arrives hot and doesn't get cold right away. The staff was courteous and quick too. We will be back to try other dishes. ”

Ilaria V.

“ Great Greek experience on Naviglio della Martesana! Pretty location that for a moment makes you remember Greece. Beautiful spacious and wide and generous seat. Typical traditional dishes, the lamb shank and meat rolls are sublime. Honest prices. Attentive and fast service. All very good. 🇬🇷. Take a look at the menu on their website after booking. ”

Some historical background on Greece

On May 29, 1453, Constantinople, the famed queen of cities that had been the capital of the Eastern Roman - or Byzantine - empire for nearly 1,000 years, fell to the Ottoman Turks. For Greeks the day is symbolic as the beginning of more than 400 years of Ottoman occupation, and the sacrifices of those who defend the city are solemnly remembered.
